Elders depart the Mission


On May 31, 2016, Elders Bio, Cichoski, Pabie, Thomas, and Weegi depart the Mission. We enjoyed dinner at the Mission Home the night before they finished. Elder Bio went to the airport the following day to fly to his home in Sierra Leone. (Elder Cichoski followed a few days later.) We took Elders Pabie, Thomas, and Weegi to their homes in Monrovia. We're thankful for their great service both in our and in their previous ones.











The first stop in taking our Liberians home, 
was to Elder Pabie's home.







We then took Elder Weegi to his home. 
He is pictured with his father, the Brach President for the Gardnersville New Georgia Branch.








Then, due to time constraints, we stopped on the road to say farewell to the remaining two. President Carlson took Elder Thomas to his home while Sister Carlson took Elder Bio to the airport.

Elder Bednar and Elder Hallstrom visit Liberia

On Oct. 31, 2015, Elder & Sister Bednar, Elder & Sister Hallstrom, and Elder & Sister Curtis came to Liberia. A film crew came in as well, where they followed and interviewed some of our Elders while they proselyted. This was posted online after the visit, and then a shorter version was shown during Conference sessions in the April 2016 General Conference. Our missionaries were so excited to hear from all of these General Authorities and their wives. Prior to the All-Liberia Conference that they held on Sunday, November 1, 2015, President and Sister Carlson attended Mission President's Training in Ghana. All three General Authorities (along with the other 2 who are counselors in the Africa West Area) spoke with us. Attached are also a few photos from that.
