Primary Anniversary and Rainy Season

On August 28, 2016, Bushrod Island District held a Primary Anniversary. Sister Carlson attended and enjoyed seeing so many of the children in attendance. Children participated in the event by reciting Articles of Faith and giving short talks. Some music was included as well. It was a very nice meeting.

The next two photos show an area near Thinker Village. In the dry season it is a football field, and in the rainy season it is a lake.


Below is a shot of Broad Street in downtown Monrovia between rainstorms - and taken
in the morning, on a weekend when there was no traffic.

Elder Bednar and Elder Hallstrom visit Liberia

On Oct. 31, 2015, Elder & Sister Bednar, Elder & Sister Hallstrom, and Elder & Sister Curtis came to Liberia. A film crew came in as well, where they followed and interviewed some of our Elders while they proselyted. This was posted online after the visit, and then a shorter version was shown during Conference sessions in the April 2016 General Conference. Our missionaries were so excited to hear from all of these General Authorities and their wives. Prior to the All-Liberia Conference that they held on Sunday, November 1, 2015, President and Sister Carlson attended Mission President's Training in Ghana.
