Orphans visit the beach
A local orphanage that is run by a church member, Quita, was visiting a beach.
Paul & Jan Preneveau, volunteers from the US that help the orphanage, were visiting the
Mission Office and invited Sister Carlson to join them.
Sister Gloria Terry, serving a mission in Ghana, was visiting Liberia and was invited to go along.
We began by playing games on the lawn.
Sisters Carlson & Terry both were with the group of girls,
while the Preneveau's organized the boys.
Then candy was passed out. Music was played and some children danced.
When the storm subsided, we made our way down to the beach.
At first, the children were reluctant, but after a small group was encouraged to go, the rest followed.
After posing for a few more photos, Sister Carlson and Sister Terry said goodbye to the children
and hopped into our trusty mission truck and were on our way back to town.
It was a very enjoyable day for all.
