The missionaries get started!

Elder and Sister Paul & Eilene Hezseltine served previously in the Liberia Monrovia Mission.  They finished their service in late July 2014, and almost immediately after their return to the U.S., the Mission closed. They generously accepted our request to return for a short time to help us reopen the mission. They arrived about a week before the 16 Liberians came.
They were an immense help, thinking of things we had not. They were invaluable in the vast physical work they did in the office and missionary apartments.

After the orientation meetings, there was much to do. Area Books, pamphlets, Seychelle bottles, mosquito nets, rainboots, pillows, umbrellas, and other supplies had to be gathered and packed into the various trucks that would take the missionaries out to their new areas.  The missionaries all worked hard, while enjoying visiting with each other and various members and our Area Office staff.
